Responsibilities

  • Define and drive end-to-end software test architecture, scalable automation frameworks, and reusable validation strategies.
  • Design verification approaches for Sys.4 system integration and Sys.5 system qualification aligned with product architecture and SRS.
  • Lead test automation framework development and adoption for functional, integration, regression, and system-level testing.
  • Define and implement CICT pipelines that integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows.
  • Integrate CANoe, vTestStudio, and Python frameworks into automated validation environments.
  • Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, mentoring, and subject-matter expertise to testing teams.
  • Oversee bench, integration, and system-level testing, defect lifecycle management, root cause analysis, and cross-functional resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with GPEP, ASPICE, QOS, customer requirements, and Magna health and safety requirements.
  • Define and optimize testing processes, metrics, and KPIs while promoting shift-left, early validation, and risk-based testing.
  • Collaborate with system, software, DevOps, quality, global, and external partner teams in design reviews, audits, and customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience defining software test architecture, automation strategies, verification approaches, and validation standards.
  • Experience with functional, integration, regression, and system-level testing and with automated validation environments.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows and improving test coverage, execution efficiency, and reporting.
  • Experience with CANoe, vTestStudio, and Python-based testing frameworks.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, perform root cause analysis, and resolve system-level issues.
  • Experience with GPEP, ASPICE, QOS, customer requirements, and quality governance.
  • Experience collaborating with global teams and coordinating with external partners.
  • Ability to maintain safe work practices and comply with applicable health and safety requirements.
