Responsibilities
- Design and drive product-level functional and non-functional testing strategies aligned with technical requirements and business objectives.
- Architect scalable test platforms and automation frameworks for cloud-native, microservices-based systems.
- Translate customer, product, and system requirements into test strategies, test designs, and executable test plans.
- Lead software subsystem integration and end-to-end system validation for functionality, performance, and quality.
- Identify and address testing gaps, quality risks, support issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with customers, product management, architecture, and engineering teams on testing priorities and delivery goals.
- Mentor teams in quality engineering and modern testing methodologies, resolve critical customer escalations, and drive continuous improvement through advanced automation and AI-assisted testing.
Requirements
- Engineering degree and 12+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, and test automation.
- Strong expertise in test architecture and quality assurance for cloud-native, microservices-based, highly scalable distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, and/or C++ for automation development, with hands-on Linux experience.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Envoy, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps toolchains.
- Experience designing, implementing, and executing test strategies for scalable, resilient, and reliable systems.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, database testing, observability, monitoring, and telemetry-driven validation skills.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and communicate with technical and business stakeholders in agile environments.
- Hands-on experience with Agentic AI and AI-assisted engineering tools for testing and automation.
- Experience in NMS/EMS testing, interoperability and observability testing, databases, gRPC-based services, APIs, and open-source integrations is preferred.
- Experience in 4G/5G mobile core network signaling is preferred.
