Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical architecture and solution design for complex projects.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams, provide technical guidance, and drive technical decisions.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments.
- Design and build cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform and optimize BigQuery solutions for analytics and data processing.
- Implement cloud security, monitoring, access management, deployment, scalability, and performance best practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain Python backend applications and FastAPI APIs.
- Integrate backend services with databases, cloud services, external platforms, and AI models.
- Design and implement AI-powered applications, generative AI solutions, AI-driven workflows, and automation capabilities using OpenAI APIs and other large language models.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle from design through production support and identify and mitigate technical risks.
- Align technical delivery with business goals and collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of professional experience.
- Mandatory spoken and written Swedish proficiency.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Python, FastAPI, OpenAI API integration, and generative AI solution design and implementation.
- Experience leading development teams and driving technical decisions.
- Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, AI agents, workflow automation, cloud security, IAM, CI/CD, automated testing, data analytics, data platforms, monitoring, observability, database design, and optimization is preferred.
- Experience conducting code reviews, enforcing engineering best practices, defining technical roadmaps, and working in hybrid and distributed teams is preferred.
- GCP and AI/generative AI certifications are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
