Base Salary
$55k - $152k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain policy-as-code solutions for automated governance and compliance.
- Build and enhance frontend applications using JavaScript and frameworks such as Vue, Angular, or React.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices supporting policy enforcement and automation workflows.
- Embed policies into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevSecOps and pipeline engineering teams.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure in containerized and cloud-native environments.
- Apply UI/UX principles to create intuitive interfaces.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, and other Agile development activities.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Produce technical designs, software documentation, code, tests, deployments, and maintenance updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience is typically required for roles at this level.
- Proficiency with JavaScript frontend frameworks, including React, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience with Golang, MongoDB, RESTful APIs, Git, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
- Understanding of cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principles, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with rule engines, policy-as-code frameworks, compliance automation, security, governance, or compliance-focused engineering is preferred.
- Experience influencing technical direction or architecture decisions is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, communication, collaboration, technical writing, and software design skills.
- A comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may substitute for a degree.
