Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship LLM-powered and agentic product features.
- Build agentic systems that reason over context, invoke tools, take real actions, and recover from failures.
- Architect and implement production-grade RAG pipelines over sensitive financial data with correctness, auditability, and safety requirements.
- Contribute to shared AI infrastructure, including LLM services, agent orchestration frameworks, and evaluation and monitoring tooling.
- Own delivered production systems, including their reliability, latency, cost, and failure modes.
- Partner with product and design teams and focus engineering work on customer outcomes.
Requirements
- Require 5+ years of software engineering experience, including meaningful production experience with LLMs or applied ML systems.
- Require a track record of shipping AI-powered or agentic systems used by real users.
- Require strong engineering fundamentals across backend systems, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
- Require hands-on experience with modern LLM tooling and agentic patterns and architectures.
- Require fluency with AI-assisted and agentic development workflows.
- Require strong ownership, sound technical judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to ship reliable products.
- Require a product mindset and customer orientation.
- Prefer experience building agentic systems in fintech or other regulated industries.
- Prefer founding-engineer or early technical-contributor experience in high-growth environments.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to ship technically complex systems in regulated contexts and meaningful open-source contributions, particularly in AI or developer tooling.
