Responsibilities
- Set the AI and innovation direction for Operations across customer experience, productivity, quality, and scalability.
- Identify and prioritize high-value use cases with domain teams based on business value, feasibility, and readiness.
- Lead the central Operations innovation model, including its structure, ways of working, and foundations.
- Lead a small team of Forward Deployed AI specialists in delivering scalable solutions.
- Build organizational credibility around AI and communicate practical opportunities, risks, and implications.
- Represent Operations in central engineering and ensure operational priorities are understood and supported.
- Coordinate with business enablement and capability teams on new capabilities and upskilling.
- Track progress and value delivered, maintaining focus on outcomes rather than activity.
Requirements
- Experience leading meaningful transformation in an operations or service environment.
- Experience building or scaling AI, automation, or digital workflow improvements beyond small experiments.
- Technical depth sufficient to understand architectures, trade-offs, risks, and quality standards.
- Strong operational judgment and understanding of workflow redesign in practice.
- Ability to move ideas from concept through prioritization and implementation.
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience shaping operating models, governance, or delivery mechanisms.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across operations, engineering, data, product, enablement, and capability teams.
- Ability to operate effectively in environments involving pace, ambiguity, and practical execution.
