Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team leads, product owners, business analysts, software engineers, clients, and partners to develop product features.
- Write solution designs and participate in technical reviews with leads and architects.
- Participate in client workshops and support requirements analysis.
- Design, develop, maintain, improve, and optimize software solutions for securities operations.
- Develop and maintain automated tests and support quality assurance.
- Take ownership of a defined area of technical expertise and work with agile processes and Jira.
Requirements
- Minimum three years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of database technologies, including SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Knowledge of Java; Python, C++, or similar languages is valuable.
- Ability to understand business needs and produce clean designs and high-quality code.
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills with a structured and autonomous approach to complex technical and business problems.
- Experience in financial services or securities trading is a bonus.
- Experience with other trading-system IT vendors is a bonus.
- A university degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred.
- Knowledge of FIX, SWIFT MT, MX, or ISO 20022 securities-trading standards is a bonus.
