Base Salary
$157k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Review and debug code written by other engineers and promote secure coding, peer review, automated testing, and reusable engineering patterns.
- Lead adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering tools for coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and incident analysis.
- Establish validation standards for AI-generated outputs, including correctness, performance, security, data sensitivity, and resiliency checks.
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring remediation and improve application and system operational stability.
- Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams concerning architecture, technical capabilities, and integration applicability.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced programming ability in Java and proficiency with frameworks such as Spring.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and monitoring or tracing tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and Postman.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
- Experience leading responsible adoption of AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on safe, compliant use.
- Advanced understanding of software development life cycle practices, application resiliency, security, and agile delivery.
- Preferred familiarity with modern front-end technologies and Kubernetes.
- Preferred knowledge of AI tools such as Agent and Agentic, plus cloud certifications.
