Base Salary

$147k - $178k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategy and roadmaps for application innovation, automation, and end-to-end delivery.
  • Analyze business requirements and specifications and configure internally developed and commercial off-the-shelf applications.
  • Build, enhance, deploy, maintain, and evolve applications using Java, Spring, microservices, APIs, AWS, and databases.
  • Plan application testing, deployment, maintenance, and remediation of programming errors and scope changes.
  • Lead process improvements, cost-reduction initiatives, and tool development to simplify and improve software development and support.
  • Coach, review, delegate work to, and lead teams of developers delivering scalable applications to production.
  • Partner with clients, business stakeholders, IT, and management to align goals, timelines, solution roadmaps, and technical issue support.
  • Research emerging technologies and lead structured, risk-aware proof-of-concept initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 8 years of required work experience; 10 years preferred.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on Java and Spring programming experience in production environments.
  • At least 5 years of experience building microservices and REST APIs using Java and deploying on AWS or in containerized workloads.
  • Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, including Oracle or MongoDB.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead developers in delivering high-quality, scalable applications to production.
  • Preferred experience with frontend development using React or Angular and full-stack delivery.
  • Experience researching emerging technologies, leading proof-of-concept initiatives, partnering with business stakeholders, defining roadmaps, leading end-to-end delivery, and owning applications.
