Responsibilities
- Design and implement Red Hat OpenShift, OpenShift Virtualization, and modern platform architectures.
- Lead customer discovery, analysis, design, architecture-review, proof-of-concept, and knowledge-transfer workshops.
- Define practices for platform deployment, hardening, observability, monitoring and alerting, capacity management, scalability, resiliency, and security operations.
- Lead medium- to large-sized project teams and ensure the quality of customer deliverables.
- Support technical pre-sales through scoping, technical proposal development, solution demonstrations, and architectural reviews.
- Migrate workloads to OpenShift and operationalize container platforms across multi-cloud environments.
- Advise customer and Red Hat technical stakeholders, build customer relationships, and align solutions with business and technical requirements.
- Mentor junior consultants and customer engineers.
- Contribute to internal consulting methodologies, playbooks, reference architectures, and shared consulting assets.
- Stay current with Kubernetes, platform engineering, open-source trends, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a consulting role.
- Hands-on experience and advanced knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift platforms.
- In-depth expertise managing multiple Kubernetes clusters across multi-cloud environments.
- Experience operationalizing OpenShift through Service Mesh, GitOps principles, and serverless frameworks.
- Experience with RHEL, Satellite, and Pacemaker.
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization or similar platforms.
- Experience migrating workloads to the OpenShift container platform.
- Proven leadership in modern software and platform transformation projects.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong customer-facing, presentation, communication, and facilitation skills with technical and business audiences.
- Engagement in open-source communities or a contributor background.
- Red Hat OpenShift certification is required.
- Experience working with AI platforms and models is preferred.
