Responsibilities
- Design and develop software tools for infrastructure testing and verification.
- Create and maintain automated testing frameworks for infrastructure.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to identify and resolve reliability issues.
- Improve service resiliency through automation, identify and resolve performance issues, and conduct capacity planning.
- Participate in incident reviews, root cause analysis, code reviews, and delivery of SRE solutions in a globally distributed hybrid cloud environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, or Java.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes administration, modern CI/CD techniques, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Deep understanding of Linux operating systems and TCP/IP fundamentals.
- Experience with software testing methodologies and tools, monitoring, metrics gathering, APM, container management, and log collection tools.
- Preferred qualifications include performance engineering, chaos engineering, CI/CD pipeline, complex system architecture, cloud infrastructure, automation, and scalability experience.
