- Design and develop software tools for infrastructure testing and verification.
- Create and maintain automated testing frameworks for infrastructure.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to identify and resolve reliability issues.
- Improve service resiliency through automation and develop self-healing solutions.
- Identify and resolve performance issues and conduct capacity planning.
- Participate in incident reviews and root cause analysis.
- Contribute to code reviews and maintain high software quality standards.
- Deliver SRE solutions in globally distributed, multi-cloud hybrid environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, or Java.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes administration, modern CI/CD techniques, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Deep understanding of Linux operating systems and TCP/IP fundamentals.
- Experience with software testing methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency with monitoring, metrics gathering, APM, container management, and log collection tools.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and documentation abilities.
- Preferred: experience with performance engineering and chaos engineering.
- Preferred: experience with CI/CD pipelines and complex system architectures and infrastructures.
- Preferred: familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud infrastructure.
