Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze business, stakeholder, and technical requirements and maintain traceability across requirements, design, and test cases.
- Create user stories and develop or configure application components that meet functional, scalability, availability, and maintainability requirements.
- Select and use programming languages, frameworks, development standards, and coding tools.
- Build automation scripts for CI/CD, testing, and other repetitive processes.
- Implement telemetry and apply security policy requirements during development and configuration.
- Create and execute test cases, perform regression testing, and identify defects.
- Track, analyze, and troubleshoot defects, performance bottlenecks, availability issues, logs, and application metrics.
- Conduct application maintenance, re-engineering, change-request evaluation, and program monitoring against milestones and timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field plus two years of software engineering or related experience, or a relevant master’s degree or equivalent.
- Experience coding in an object-oriented programming language such as Java.
- Experience developing single-page applications with Angular and React.
- Experience designing and implementing Java services with Spring Boot.
- Experience using Azure and GCP to develop and deploy applications.
- Experience with Node Package Manager, Node.js, Jenkins, and Git.
- Experience optimizing CRUD operations in Oracle and SQL databases, including indexing, query optimization, normalization, transactions, batch processing, and connection pooling.
- Experience using JUnit, JMeter, and Selenium for testing and troubleshooting.
- Experience using Redis and Spring Boot caching strategies for high-volume API response performance optimization.
- Experience configuring SonarQube, identifying vulnerabilities, and resolving them.

- Annual base pay is stated as $90,000–$180,000 per year, with additional annual or quarterly performance incentives.
