Responsibilities
- Develop complex AI solutions for clients, including chatbots, service bots, and LLM-based applications.
- Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions using Python/LangChain or Java/Spring AI.
- Integrate open-source LLMs into client systems in cloud and on-premise environments using Kubernetes.
- Design, develop, and prepare AI applications for production operation.
- Build agent-based systems, tool-calling workflows, MCP integrations, and multi-agent architectures.
- Collaborate with international development teams and colleagues in Germany.
- Work remotely using modern collaboration tools, with occasional travel.
Requirements
- Several years of experience developing AI applications and enterprise software.
- Advanced Python knowledge or experience developing with Java and Spring AI.
- Practical experience developing production LLM and RAG solutions, including technologies such as LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, or Spring AI.
- Strong knowledge of LLM APIs, prompt engineering, embeddings, semantic search, data-ingestion pipelines, and model integration.
- Experience with relational and vector databases, particularly PostgreSQL and pgvector.
- Experience with agent-based systems, tool calling, MCP, and multi-agent architectures.
- Knowledge of security, data protection, compliance, monitoring, and production operations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- C1-level English proficiency.
- Preferred experience with Azure, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI API, or other cloud AI platforms.
- Preferred practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, and CI/CD environments.
- Preferred DevOps and LLMOps experience, including observability, tracing, and evaluation of LLM applications.
- Preferred knowledge of monitoring tools such as LangSmith, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- An IT or software-development higher-education degree is preferred.
- Preferred experience with n8n workflow and automation platforms.
- Preferred knowledge of Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, Elasticsearch, or OpenSearch.
- Preferred web-development experience with Java/Spring Boot, TypeScript, Angular, React, or Vue.
