Responsibilities
- Own quality strategy for Accident Management features from product intake through production readiness.
- Join product grooming, engineering design, sprint planning, and release-readiness meetings as the quality engineering lead.
- Convert ambiguous product requirements into clear acceptance scenarios and automation-ready test cases.
- Write detailed test cases with preconditions, steps, expected results, and traceability back to Jira.
- Partner with QA automation engineers to turn test cases into reliable automation and regression coverage.
- Review automation PRs for maintainability and reliability.
- Define appropriate testing levels for different behaviors.
- Improve CI/CD quality signals and reporting.
- Mentor developers and QA partners on quality-first engineering practices.
- Help transition from reactive QA to proactive quality engineering throughout the SDLC.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 4+ years of professional software engineering, SDET, or quality engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on automation experience across UI and API layers.
- Ability to write production-quality test automation and review others' code.
- Experience designing test frameworks and strategies.
- Strong debugging skills for CI failures and production-like issues.
- Excellent communication skills with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to be hands-on while leading quality processes.
