Base Salary

$147k - $210k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Write product or system development code.
  • Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources and impact on hardware, network, service operations, and quality.
  • Implement solutions in specialized machine learning areas and contribute to ML infrastructure, model optimization, and data processing.
  • Train machine learning models and explore features, architectures, and hyperparameters to improve model accuracy.
  • Develop and deploy relevance models for shopping ads across Google Search, Google Images, and Google Shopping.
  • Improve retrieval, ranking, ad eligibility, and pricing decisions for shopping advertisements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 2 years of programming experience in Python or C++.
  • At least 1 year of end-to-end machine learning experience, including model deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing, or debugging.
  • At least 1 year of experience in reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, ranking, or recommendations.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  • Preferred: experience in statistics, databases, analytics, big data, or a related area.
  • Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.

  • US base salary is listed as $147000–$210000, with a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
