Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain API test plans and test cases.
- Perform API testing using Postman and API automation using Rest Assured.
- Develop UI automation tests using Selenium with Java.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across software systems and applications.
- Apply performance testing and security testing principles to APIs.
- Act as a subject matter expert, contribute to team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Lead process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional communication.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in API testing.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in API testing.
- Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks relevant to API testing.
- Ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting techniques.
- Understanding of performance testing and security testing principles for APIs.
- Experience with Postman, Rest Assured, Selenium, and Java.
