Responsibilities
- Review requirements and design specifications and develop test plans and test cases.
- Automate UI/API, end-to-end, reliability, and scale tests.
- Scope and plan engineering efforts with engineering management.
- Communicate and document quality engineering plans for scrum teams.
- Review application code, identify bugs and weaknesses, and architect tools for future test coverage.
- Automate critical features and maintain high-quality releases.
- Respond to production alerts and customer issues during the on-call rotation.
- Advocate for customers and uphold high standards of software quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related field.
- 5-8 years of QE/SDET experience, preferably with an enterprise SaaS or product-based company.
- Experience in quality engineering for enterprise-level software and distributed systems at scale.
- Experience developing Java-based automation.
- Familiarity with Selenium, Cypress, Rest Assured, Karate, Postman, JMeter, Splunk, and AWS tools.
- Expertise in test planning and cross-team collaboration.
- Ability to write and review designs and code with team members and deliver high-quality code on time.
- Preferred experience with performance testing, CI/CD practices, Office 365, Google, Salesforce, Active Directory, and LDAP integrations.
