Responsibilities
- Lead and define architecture, data, and cloud strategies for the largest client accounts.
- Engage C-level customers and align their strategic objectives with the Celonis technical strategy.
- Design innovative solutions leveraging emerging technologies, including Agentic AI.
- Bridge Celonis product and engineering teams with client teams to provide technical services.
- Assess the maturity of customer IT landscapes in the region.
- Participate in pre-sales and post-sales engagements with customer architecture and security teams.
- Coach Celonis consulting teams and ecosystem partners on architecture, integration, performance, and scalability issues.
- Develop reusable consulting assets, customer-facing position papers, and thought leadership presentations.
- Create technical designs and presentations for internal and client stakeholders.
- Support sales goals including customer acquisition, retention, and upselling by removing technical blockers.
Requirements
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience as a software vendor architect, consulting CTO, or customer-side enterprise architect.
- Strong data architecture, system integration, data operations, automation, and development experience with data-related languages such as SQL and Python.
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS solutions including Salesforce, SAP, Dynamics CRM, and ServiceNow, cybersecurity fundamentals, API ecosystems, and legacy on-premise enterprise architectures.
- Ability to connect technical solutions to business value and customer objectives and to present effectively to C-level executives.
- Ability to move between explaining architecture and coding or assembling an architecture demonstration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and creativity skills.
- Fluency in English; Spanish, French, or Italian is an advantage.
- MSc or bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent information technology-related field.
