Base Salary
$102k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and operate scalable cloud-based data, analytics, automation, and tooling solutions.
- Own software solutions end to end across design, implementation, deployment, and operations.
- Build data pipelines, SQL transformations, Spark jobs, ETL scripts, and data model definitions.
- Integrate Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and ML models into software solutions.
- Create test strategies, execute test plans, write testable code, and automate production deployment where possible.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, telemetry, and usage analytics for proactive issue detection and product insight.
- Apply coding patterns, security best practices, security hardening, and compliance review during software development.
- Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, product engineering partners, and other engineers to deliver customer-focused experiences.
- Use and share AI-assisted development practices, including GitHub Copilot-generated code and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and programming.
- Preferred: master’s degree plus 3+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience or interest in cloud-based data platforms, analytics, automation, AI capabilities, testing, monitoring, and secure software delivery.
