Base Salary
$102k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Determine user requirements with project managers, technical leads, and other stakeholders.
- Design and implement extensible, maintainable code for products, services, and features.
- Review code for quality, reliability, accuracy, scalability, and alignment with Microsoft standards.
- Support security, privacy, safety, accessibility, and compliance processes, including assessments and vulnerability management.
- Architect solutions and guide others in implementation while collaborating with stakeholders across and outside the company.
- Serve as an on-call Designated Responsible Individual, monitor services for degradation or downtime, respond within SLA timeframes, and escalate issues appropriately.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: experience with Azure services including Microsoft Entra ID authentication, App Services, Functions, Event Hubs, and Stream Analytics, as well as Azure DevOps.
- Preferred: master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 3+ years of software design and development experience with middle-tier or backend services.
- Preferred: experience deploying, monitoring, and operating services in the cloud.
Benefits
- The role is based in the United States and has a stated annual base pay range of USD $102,100–$202,200, with different ranges for the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
