EWM Technical consultant
Bosch GlobalResponsibilities
- Conduct customer requirements-gathering workshops and translate business needs into SAP EWM processes and solutions.
- Identify functional and technical gaps and create technical design documentation.
- Lead SAP EWM ABAP development, enhancements, custom developments, integrations, and technical design topics.
- Design and develop SAP BTP side-by-side extensions, applications, APIs, and integration solutions for SAP S/4HANA and EWM.
- Work with RF frameworks, mobile transactions, IDocs/ALE, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, RFCs, Adobe Forms, and SmartForms.
- Support EWM integrations with MM, SD, PP, QM, TM, TMS, MES, WMS, automation, and other external systems.
- Lead technical teams, conduct code reviews, guide developers, and facilitate technical design discussions.
- Contribute to data migration, cutover, post-go-live support, continuous improvement, debugging, and performance tuning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of hands-on SAP EWM experience, including strong SAP EWM technical development using ABAP.
- 10–15 years of overall SAP experience and at least 8 years of hands-on SAP EWM technical development experience.
- Experience delivering at least two full-cycle decentralized or embedded EWM implementations on SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong expertise in RF framework, mobile transactions, IDocs/ALE, BAPIs, BADIs, enhancements, user exits, RFCs, Adobe Forms, and SmartForms.
- Experience with SAP BTP services, SAP Business Application Studio, Node.js, Java, ABAP, APIs, integration services, cloud application development, and clean-core extension principles.
- Knowledge of SAP EWM inbound, outbound, internal warehouse, handling-unit, and batch-management processes.
- Experience integrating EWM with SAP modules and external systems, plus data migration, cutover, post-go-live support, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Proven experience leading technical teams, conducting code reviews, and guiding junior consultants; strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- SAP EWM Technical certification is preferred.
