Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver scoped software features and model components through implementation, iteration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Write and maintain software using JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, and C++.
- Execute the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD deployment, automated testing, observability, monitoring, maintenance, debugging, and defect management.
- Integrate AI agents and ML components through internal and external APIs and use GenAI tools to improve development productivity.
- Design scalable, secure, maintainable software systems and translate high-level designs into detailed technical implementations.
- Manage and query data with Cosmos DB and design storage solutions using Azure SQL Database and Azure Cosmos DB.
- Administer Oracle and DB2 databases using DBeaver and TOAD, including SQL/PLSQL development, Data Guard, and Exadata-related capabilities.
- Monitor applications with Splunk and Grafana and support application performance, uptime, and reliability.
- Develop service requests and reports for database audit details and data retrieval.
- Create test cases, provide software development support, and handle problem management and change management releases.
- Develop Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts, host applications on Azure virtual machines and Docker containers, and orchestrate services with Kubernetes.
- Use Linux shell scripting for automation and system administration.
- Implement batch processing with Spring Batch and load results into application tables following a test-driven development process.
- Develop Swagger API documentation and provide L2/L3 customer support through ITSM and ServiceNow while meeting SLA expectations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, define success metrics, mentor peers, share knowledge, and drive technical initiatives to completion.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field plus one year of software engineering or related experience; or bachelor's degree or equivalent in one of these fields plus three years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Oracle, DB2, DBeaver, TOAD, Data Guard, Exadata, Splunk, Grafana, Kubernetes, Helm, Azure virtual machines, Docker, Linux shell scripting, Spring Batch, Swagger, ITSM, and ServiceNow.
- Experience with SQL/PLSQL development, database administration, performance, security and availability, REST APIs, batch processing, application monitoring, deployment automation, and customer support.
- Experience developing service requests, retrieving audit or database data, preparing reports, creating component or module test cases, and supporting problem and change management.
