Base Salary
$154k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.
- Analyze application portfolios, identify dependencies and common infrastructure components, and assess migration feasibility.
- Architect hybrid AWS and on-premises solutions and guide customers on effective, cost-efficient AWS adoption.
- Support customers in building, migrating, and deploying applications, software, and services on AWS.
- Brief senior executives on customer adoption progress and future platform requirements.
- Author AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and share best practices with the AWS solutions architect community.
- Define cloud strategies and deployments with technical and executive customer stakeholders.
- Educate customers on AWS's value proposition and ensure solutions are designed for successful AWS deployment.
- Travel domestically and/or internationally up to 25% as required.
Requirements
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus one year of experience in the offered role or a related occupation.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience may substitute for the Master's degree and one year of experience.
- At least one year of experience designing, implementing, and consulting on distributed applications.
- At least one year of experience architecting, provisioning, and deploying applications to public cloud or on-premises virtualized environments using C++, Perl, Python, or Java.
- At least one year of experience with database architecture, performance tuning, and either Big Data or Hadoop.
- Relevant related experience may include Database Administrator, Support Engineer, or Systems Engineer work.
