Base Salary
$242k - $294k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop new functionality, pipelines, and workflows while enhancing existing systems.
- Help implement the next generation of Roblox’s real-time immersive audio simulation platform.
- Optimize performance and quality across low-end phones, high-end desktops, and other platforms.
- Design, refine, and tune algorithms and troubleshoot bugs and production performance issues.
- Apply research efforts to Roblox products and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver new features.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering projects involving complex user workflows.
- Strong Android and C++ expertise, including C++ programming.
- Highly skilled in performance tuning, debugging, and resolving production problems.
- Experience designing, refining, and tuning algorithms.
- Some iOS and Windows experience, with the ability to learn new technologies.
- BS in a STEM-related field or equivalent experience.
- Interest in developing audio expertise; professional audio experience is not required.
- Preferred experience includes PlayStation or Xbox programming, systems-level Bluetooth, products at massive scale, server experience or server API interaction, and computer graphics or physics.
