Base Salary
$197k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Shape and improve the iOS experience used daily by millions of Roblox players.
- Lead architecture and implementation across a large Swift and Objective-C codebase.
- Adopt new iOS, hardware, and platform capabilities.
- Partner with product, design, and data science to deliver product ideas.
- Improve engineering standards through code review, technical mentorship, instrumentation, and safe shipping practices.
- For principal-level scope, set technical direction across workstreams and lead multi-quarter initiatives spanning teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years leading the design and delivery of mobile features at scale.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Swift and Objective-C.
- Experience with modern iOS architecture, including Swift Concurrency, SwiftUI/UIKit interoperability, and modularization.
- Experience working safely and effectively in very large codebases with many contributors.
- Strong product judgment and ability to operate effectively under ambiguity.
