Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve the Native Component Library built with Jetpack Compose for scalability, accessibility, and reuse across product teams.
- Improve Android developer experience through CI/CD optimization, test automation, and automated multi-team release processes.
- Maintain networking infrastructure supporting offline-first synchronization, intelligent caching, and secure cloud data transit.
- Implement BLE, NFC, and custom Wi-Fi handshakes for secure and reliable phone-to-hardware communication.
- Optimize the type-safe native-web communication layer for device sensors, secure enclaves, and core system logic.
- Advise product teams on architecture patterns such as Server-Driven UI and balance native performance with engineering velocity.
- Manage the Google Play Store release cycle for high-frequency deployments with multiple contributors.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional Android development experience.
- Deep mastery of Kotlin and the Android SDK.
- Strong experience with mobile CI/CD, including GitHub Actions or Bitrise, and test automation.
- Deep understanding of networking stacks including OkHttp, Retrofit, and Protobuf.
- Hands-on experience with Bluetooth/BLE or NFC and Android background execution limits.
- Expert proficiency in Jetpack Compose and experience scaling shared UI libraries across multiple teams.
- Experience managing Google Play Store releases for applications with frequent deployments and multiple contributors.
