Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales team to provide technical leadership.
- Develop account strategies and execute them to solve customer problems.
- Consult on Big Data architectures and implement proof of concepts.
- Collaborate with other Solutions Architects to support users.
- Promote and recruit contributors for Databricks open-source projects.
Requirements
- 8+ years in data engineering, data science, or technical architecture.
- Experience with Big Data technologies like Apache Spark™, AI, and Hadoop.
- Strong consulting experience with external clients across various industries.
- Coding experience in Python, R, Java, or Scala.
- Experience building distributed data systems.
- Familiarity with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Willingness to travel to customers in your region.
- Databricks Certification is a plus.
