Responsibilities
- Own the multi-year technical vision for Payments, Scheduling, and RCM application platforms.
- Drive architectural coherence across multiple teams and resolve cross-system dependencies.
- Lead technical due diligence for major initiatives, including build-vs-buy decisions.
- Identify and solve complex technical problems that span organizational boundaries.
- Compile information across systems to develop comprehensive solutions.
- Monitor industry trends to ensure Weave stays ahead in customer experience platforms.
- Shape company-wide standards for engineering excellence and reliability.
- Mentor Staff and Senior Engineers to develop future technical leaders.
Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience with progressive technical leadership.
- Track record of leading cross-team technical initiatives with measurable outcomes.
- Ability to influence without authority and build consensus across teams.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems architecture and high-scale services.
- Experience with event streaming and messaging infrastructure at scale.
- Strong background in scalable data stores, both relational and NoSQL.
- Operational experience with cloud-native infrastructure on GCP or AWS.
- Solid backend engineering foundation, preferably in Go.
