Responsibilities

Define and drive solution architecture for enterprise applications.
Lead technical design activities and support implementation across distributed teams.
Modernise and evolve complex legacy systems.
Design solutions that are scalable, maintainable, secure, and high performing.
Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, DevOps, business stakeholders, and distributed delivery teams.
Support delivery throughout the full software development lifecycle.
Promote engineering best practices and architectural standards.
Contribute to long-term technology roadmaps and future architecture decisions.

10+ years of experience in enterprise software development and solution architecture.
Strong Java background, including Java 11/17 and Java EE/Jakarta EE.
Strong database design and development expertise, particularly with PostgreSQL.
Hands-on experience with Eclipse RCP, SWT, JFace, and WildFly Application Server.
Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications.
Understanding of software architecture, object-oriented design principles, and design patterns.
Experience leading legacy-system modernisation and working in complex enterprise environments.
Experience with JPA/Hibernate, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Maven, and Azure DevOps is advantageous.
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with geographically distributed technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Permanent employee benefits in Romania include 13 monthly salaries per year.
Monthly compensation is listed as 22,000–24,000 RON net.

Initial onboarding requires a 2–3 week on-site stay in Dresden, Germany.
