Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, performant, maintainable chat and agent interfaces.
- Build AI-powered experiences with streaming responses, conversational state, tool and skill interactions, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Contribute to composable micro-frontends, web component applications, shared AI context services, modularization, code splitting, and Nx monorepo development.
- Build responsive, accessible, cross-platform user experiences meeting WCAG standards.
- Collaborate with UX, Product, and Backend Engineering teams to deliver product improvements based on user feedback.
- Define frontend standards for testing, accessibility, performance, and maintainability.
- Own frontend test coverage using Vitest, Playwright, visual regression testing, and Storybook-driven component development.
- Contribute to CI/CD, automated delivery pipelines, progressive CDN deployments, versioning, and component lifecycle workflows.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across frontend initiatives.
- Explore and integrate AI-driven enhancements into customer-facing and internal experiences.
Requirements
- 4–6+ years of professional frontend development experience building large-scale web applications or enterprise platforms.
- Advanced proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, and the modern React ecosystem, including hooks and concurrent rendering patterns.
- Experience designing reusable UI infrastructure, shared libraries, scalable frontend abstractions, modular architectures, code splitting, lazy loading, and micro-frontends.
- Experience with component libraries such as PrimeReact, Material UI, or similar frameworks.
- Strong responsive web design skills, including semantic HTML, modern CSS, and cross-device experiences.
- Experience integrating with GraphQL services and frontend state and data-fetching solutions such as React Query and Zustand.
- Familiarity with Vite, Webpack, Nx, or Turborepo.
- Understanding of frontend performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and WCAG accessibility standards.
- Hands-on experience maintaining automated tests with Vitest, Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Preferred experience with frontend infrastructure in Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- Preferred experience contributing to design systems or shared enterprise component libraries and with module federation and runtime composition.
- Understanding of .NET or Node.js for cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with AI-enhanced frontend experiences, chat interfaces, streaming responses, agentic workflows, intelligent UI patterns, personalization, and generative interactions.
- Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, software development, system design, automation, data analysis, database management, network architecture, performance optimization, and project management skills.
