Responsibilities
- Implement scalable Salesforce solutions covering continuous delivery, optimization, monitoring, release management, and end-to-end release support.
- Set up, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce applications using Azure DevOps.
- Create SFDX projects, automated releases, branching strategies, package deployments, and back-sync processes across Salesforce environments.
- Manage environment provisioning, sandbox management, data deployments, production releases, rollbacks, and recovery processes.
- Automate recurring activities, document release issues, and continuously improve deployment and operational processes.
- Maintain Salesforce administration, metadata and data backup and recovery, and security and performance monitoring solutions.
- Integrate code scanning tools into environment pipelines and collaborate with clients and multiple departments.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of IT experience with Salesforce DevOps implementation and Azure DevOps.
- At least 5 years of experience with release and deployment processes using Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Salesforce.com, Git, ANT, Azure DevOps, package.xml, and Salesforce Metadata APIs.
- Must have knowledge of YAML scripting for automating Azure DevOps pipelines and experience building deployment pipelines.
- Good understanding of Salesforce packages, including managed, unmanaged, locked, and unlocked packages.
- Understanding of Apex classes, triggers, custom metadata, and the complexity of Salesforce deployments.
- Knowledge of Copado is a plus.
- Experience integrating code scanning tools into environment pipelines.
- Strong written and spoken communication, ability to handle client conversations, and a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.
