Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship product features from problem understanding and design exploration through production frontend code.
- Create polished interactions and experiences covering transitions, micro-interactions, keyboard behavior, responsiveness, and accessibility.
- Prototype agentic interactions in real code, including AI-agent results, decision requests, and progress states.
- Review pull requests, contribute to feature branches, and improve shared UI foundations and component libraries.
- Bridge design and engineering by shaping solutions in Figma or code and collaborating with both designers and engineers.
Requirements
- Strong frontend engineering skills with production-quality React and TypeScript experience.
- Strong design sensibility and the ability to make sound interaction and visual decisions without pixel-perfect specifications.
- A preference for prototyping in code and shipping working implementations rather than only creating static mockups.
- Deep care for craft, polish, transitions, animations, keyboard behavior, cross-browser consistency, and accessibility.
- Experience working autonomously across the full scope from an ambiguous problem to a shipped feature.
- Regular use of AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, v0, or ChatGPT as part of the development workflow.
- Bonus: experience surfacing AI behavior to non-technical users, motion design or advanced CSS/animation, or contributing to design systems and component libraries.
