Responsibilities
- Build product workflows for Alamo, the internal MES/ERP platform.
- Develop software to assist architects in designing and refining homes.
- Create tools for the real estate team to evaluate land and project feasibility.
- Collaborate with various teams to identify product opportunities.
- Transform messy operational processes into reliable software.
- Own features from discovery to maintenance, ensuring quality and usability.
- Build user experiences using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind.
- Develop backend services and APIs for operational workflows.
- Help define product and design standards for internal software.
- Enhance speed, quality, and decision-making across the business.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong fullstack engineering skills, especially with TypeScript, React, and relational databases.
- Excellent product judgment with a history of user adoption.
- Strong taste in user experience and workflow design.
- Ability to translate operator problems into clear product requirements.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making tradeoffs.
- Strong communication skills and a high degree of ownership.
- Experience with internal tools, ERP, MES, or operational software is a plus.
