About The American Housing Corporation

11-50 employees

The American Housing Corporation is focused on one of the world’s most neglected engineering frontiers: housing. Based in Austin, Texas with developments underway across the country, we’re an organization of engineers, builders, and architects working to industrialize the homebuilding process, bringing an abundance of beautiful starter homes to the nation’s most dynamic cities and neighborhoods. We’re motivated by a simple truth: housing is the cornerstone of the American Dream. Today, too many families are forced out of the cities they love because attainable, high-quality homes no longer get built. We call it the Missing Middle. We’re here to solve that crisis by fundamentally rethinking how homes are designed, delivered, and assembled in America. We’re not the first to make this promise — but we are the first to fully own the machine behind it. From buying land to building our own factories, software, equipment, and homes, we control every step of the development process. This vertically integrated, end-to-end approach gives us unprecedented control over quality, cost, speed, and aesthetics, while creating a rare opportunity for engineers to work on high-stakes problems at a national scale. If you want to build beautiful things that shape the lives of millions — and do for housing what modern technology has done for aerospace, energy, and defense — we’d love to hear from you.
