Responsibilities
- Own full-stack feature development from front-end UI through API and database layers.
- Build user interfaces with React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and the TanStack ecosystem.
- Design, build, and maintain performant API infrastructure using Python and FastAPI.
- Optimize application performance across front-end rendering and database queries.
- Make technical decisions and execute independently without extensive process or complete requirements.
- Contribute to technical discussions, architectural planning, and front-end architecture.
- Ship rapidly while maintaining code quality and a strong customer experience.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building production applications across front-end and back-end development.
- Deep production experience with TypeScript and React or another modern component-based framework.
- Proven experience designing and building performant RESTful APIs and maintainable backend services.
- Direct experience building products in B2B SaaS environments for business users.
- Strong understanding of database interactions, query optimization, and performance at scale.
- Ability to work autonomously and make pragmatic technical decisions in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Strong attention to customer experience, code quality, and delivery speed.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, and engineers.
- Python and FastAPI experience is preferred.
- Kubernetes/EKS experience is preferred.
- Temporal workflow orchestration experience is preferred.
- PostgreSQL optimization and database performance-tuning experience is preferred.
- Experience integrating LLMs into production applications is preferred.
- Experience with TailwindCSS, the TanStack ecosystem, shadcn/ui, and Radix UI is preferred.
- Infrastructure, cloud-platform, infrastructure-as-code, design-system, or component-library experience is preferred.
