Responsibilities
- Own feature development end to end across front-end UI, API implementation, and database layers.
- Build polished React and TypeScript user interfaces using TailwindCSS and the TanStack ecosystem.
- Design, maintain, and optimize performant APIs and backend services using Python and FastAPI.
- Drive autonomous execution, make pragmatic technical decisions, and deliver features from concept through production.
- Optimize database queries, front-end rendering, and overall application performance for scale.
- Contribute to technical discussions, architectural planning, and the evolution of front-end architecture.
- Balance rapid delivery with code quality, product quality, and customer experience.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers while maintaining ownership of assigned work.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience building production applications with strong front-end and back-end skills.
- Deep hands-on experience with TypeScript and React or another modern component-based framework.
- Proven experience building performant RESTful APIs and scalable, maintainable backend services.
- Direct experience building products for business users in B2B SaaS environments.
- Strong understanding of database interactions, query optimization, and performance at scale.
- Ability to work independently and make effective technical decisions in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments.
- Strong attention to customer experience and code quality while maintaining high delivery velocity.
- Effective collaboration skills with designers, product managers, and other engineers.
- Preferred experience with Python, FastAPI, Kubernetes, EKS, Temporal, PostgreSQL optimization, LLM integrations, TailwindCSS, TanStack Router, TanStack Query, TanStack Table, shadcn/ui, Radix UI, cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-code tools, design systems, or component libraries.
