Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain PHP applications focused on stability and performance.
  • Design and optimize MySQL and PostgreSQL schemas, indexes, and queries.
  • Implement automated unit and integration testing.
  • Prepare and maintain Docker configurations.
  • Manage applications in Kubernetes and collaborate on deployments and infrastructure needs.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, resolve incidents, and support system uptime.
  • Apply web security practices such as input validation and SQL injection prevention.
  • Write technical documentation, RFCs, and system design proposals.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineering Managers, Developers, Solution Architects, and DevOps engineers.
  • Improve and maintain operations team systems supporting large-scale data, high traffic, and complex business logic.

Requirements

  • At least three years of PHP development experience is ideally required.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with automated unit and integration testing.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
  • Ability to write clear technical documentation.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized environments is a preferred qualification.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
  • Understanding of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities is preferred.
