Responsibilities
- Review client requirements, designs, and functional specifications with team members.
- Create test plans and test cases based on functional and design specifications.
- Perform ETL, SQL, regression, and functional testing for assigned applications or system elements.
- Develop computer programs or scripts to automate functional tests.
- Execute test cases and analyze and report results to stakeholders and teams.
- Investigate, triage, and troubleshoot issues while communicating recommendations to peers, developers, and leadership.
- Prepare testing and reporting documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and estimate effort and timelines for testing activities.
- Train and mentor junior testers.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong experience in ETL testing, SQL, and cloud environments.
- Experience with regression testing and functional test automation.
- Ability to investigate defects, analyze test results, and communicate findings to technical and leadership stakeholders.
