Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, or evaluate software solutions and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Contribute to a project aligned with a current priority within the Pharmacy Systems Engineering team.
  • Apply software engineering, data, and responsible AI practices to improve engineering productivity, operational workflows, or user experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute in an agile development environment.
  • Build professional relationships and strengthen technical and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s degree program for the duration of the internship and entering junior or senior year.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Coding experience in JavaScript, Python, or another programming or scripting language.
  • Understanding of relational databases, SQL queries, data structures, and software development fundamentals.
  • Coursework, projects, or hands-on exposure to artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, or natural language processing is preferred.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve software quality and engineering efficiency is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, sound judgment, curiosity, and creative problem-solving ability.
