Responsibilities
- Build and ship production software alongside experienced HubSpot engineers.
- Solve complex engineering problems that impact HubSpot customers.
- Contribute to backend, frontend, data, or systems infrastructure projects based on team placement.
- Design, develop, test, and improve software collaboratively.
- Take ownership of technical projects from development through delivery.
- Learn and apply new technologies and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Web development experience through coursework, independent projects, work experience, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week, for the full placement duration.
- Ability to work from an eligible location within the United Kingdom.
- Curiosity, motivation to learn, and interest in developing engineering skills.
- Clear communication, collaboration, and project ownership skills.
- Interest in HubSpot’s business, products, and culture.
- Industrial Placement applicants must have a mandatory placement of at least nine months as part of their course.
- Experience building software projects beyond coursework and experience with the listed technologies are preferred.
Benefits
- Remote, hybrid, or onsite work options in the United Kingdom, based on eligibility.
- Spring Co-op placement starts between January and May 2027 and lasts at least four months.
- Industrial Placement starts in June or July 2027 and lasts at least nine months, with a maximum 12-month contract.
- Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
- Travel is not required, though office visits for a Product Summit or team travel may be available.
- Engineering hires must attend a regional HubSpot office for in-person onboarding.
