Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, write, test, document, and implement well-integrated application systems according to customer requirements and organizational standards.
- Respond to production problems and implement immediate resolution efforts across technology areas.
- Contribute to software modernization, cloud-native services, APIs, event-driven solutions, data products, automation, and enterprise applications across assigned technology teams.
- Stay aware of relevant technology trends and meet project commitments and deliverables.
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, business partners, interns, and cross-functional teams, including presenting technical and user-friendly ideas.
Requirements
- Coursework or hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, or Node.js.
- Coursework or experience with AWS cloud services, including S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, Redshift, Glue, ECS, and Kinesis.
- Coursework or experience with Apache Kafka, APIs, microservices, Git, automated testing, and software deployment processes.
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student and progressing toward a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, data analytics, statistics, economics, finance, or business administration.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA, age 18 or older, U.S. work authorization, and a valid U.S. Social Security Number.
- Ability to manage concurrent assignments, solve problems, communicate effectively, think logically and abstractly, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced customer-service-oriented environment.
- Previous Software Engineer Intern experience within the past 12 months and 1–2 semesters remaining after the internship are preferred.
