Base Salary
$180k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of highly-scalable services.
- Analyze existing services and suggest operational efficiencies.
- Lead the development of new services such as a k8s operator or cloud storage caching layer.
- Participate in technology evaluations and architecture discussions.
- Drive improvements in scalability of backend services.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and Go, with a strong understanding of garbage collection and profiling.
- Familiarity with tech stack including GCP/GKE, Linux, Docker, Ruby/Rails, Redis, and ffmpeg.
- Experience in a SaaS or PaaS environment handling high volumes of async jobs.
- Curiosity-driven and pragmatic with a focus on delivering results.
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to communicate complex insights.
