Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications using Node.js, APIs, and AWS technologies.
- Measure and ensure that the DAZN platform scales and performs for millions of concurrent users.
- Conduct load testing for varied traffic patterns.
- Work with AWS, vendors, and internal teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Evaluate alternative database and other technical solutions and run proofs of concept.
- Contribute to compute cost optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in Node.js and AWS development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript for backend development.
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, CloudFront, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with serverless computing, microservices architecture, and containerization.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum team.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
