Responsibilities
- Define, own, and execute the comprehensive QA strategy for the Edge AI and mobile ecosystem.
- Lead, mentor, and task-manage QA automation engineers and establish testing best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, ML researchers, and hardware engineers on quality gates and acceptance criteria.
- Report quality metrics, test coverage, and release readiness to senior stakeholders.
- Validate deployment, stability, inference accuracy, thermal performance, and latency of AI models on NVIDIA Jetson edge devices.
- Lead benchmarking under high concurrent user loads and identify system bottlenecks.
- Use OpenCV to augment video data and establish CVAT-based ground-truth dataset workflows.
- Architect manual and automated testing for Android applications, including UI/UX, BLE/Wi-Fi connectivity, and real-time streaming.
- Design scalable automation frameworks using Appium, Espresso, Python, and Pytest for mobile and embedded platforms.
- Integrate automated tests into Jenkins or GitLab CI pipelines.
- Architect load, stress, and endurance testing for edge-to-cloud connections using tools such as JMeter.
- Adopt AI-driven QA tools and use Weights & Biases to track model evaluation metrics and validate ML outputs.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, systems or solutions testing, or SDET roles.
- At least 2+ years in a Lead, Principal, or QA Management position.
- Proven experience defining test strategies, leading agile QA efforts, and delivering complex multi-platform projects.
- Expert-level Linux knowledge in embedded systems, edge deployments, and hardware-software integration.
- Extensive experience testing embedded Linux systems, IoT devices, or edge computing hardware, with direct NVIDIA Jetson experience required.
- Hands-on OpenCV experience, familiarity with CVAT, and familiarity with Weights & Biases for model performance tracking.
- Advanced load-testing expertise focused on edge-hardware concurrency limits and hands-on JMeter experience.
- Strong mobile test-automation architecture knowledge for Android and iOS using Appium or native frameworks.
- Advanced Python skills and familiarity with Java or Kotlin.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, MQTT, REST, WebRTC, and RTSP.
- Preferred experience with NVIDIA TensorRT, DeepStream, or CUDA.
- Preferred experience testing high-throughput video-streaming applications and familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes on edge devices.
