Base Salary
$140k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build projects from design through launch across established and new products.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to execute product development.
- Contribute to technical discussions and balance short-term delivery with long-term architecture.
- Maintain strong engineering practices including code review, test coverage, and observability.
- Build and operate high-throughput backend services, queues, and storage systems.
- Improve performance and reliability across services, database queries, endpoints, caching, and critical workflows.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for built systems.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience building backend applications.
- Strong experience with Python or Go, or experience with another backend language and willingness to work across Python and Go.
- Familiarity with queues, object storage, and relational or time-series databases.
- Experience debugging production problems using metrics and logs.
- Product-minded, user-centric, empathetic, adaptable to ambiguity and rapid change, and passionate about the work.
- AI/LLM product experience and startup experience are nice-to-have qualifications.
