Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for software design, architecture, implementation, testing, and delivery.
- Collaborate with product owners, project managers, technology teams, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based applications and services using cloud, containerization, and serverless technologies.
- Architect and develop robust Java software solutions using appropriate coding standards and best practices.
- Drive development of web and mobile applications with user-friendly interfaces and seamless experiences.
- Implement test automation strategies and frameworks, including regression and performance testing.
- Promote and practice Test-Driven Development and Behavior-Driven Development with automated acceptance tests.
- Apply cyber and secure coding practices to develop resilient software solutions.
- Mentor team members and foster continuous learning and professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience, including recent experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Developer in Agile software development environments.
- Strong cloud technology expertise, including hands-on deployment on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Extensive Java development experience with frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
- Web and mobile development experience with technologies such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React, or React Native.
- Experience implementing test automation strategies using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Appium.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices including Jenkins, Git, or Ansible.
- Understanding of SRE practices and monitoring and observability tools.
- Strong practical understanding of Test-Driven Development principles.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Developer/Architect or Azure Developer Associate are preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, including collaboration with distributed cross-functional stakeholders.
