Responsibilities

Drive the performance testing strategy in alignment with business and product goals.
Own planning, scripting, execution, monitoring, and reporting across the end-to-end performance testing lifecycle.
Design and implement scalable load, stress, endurance, and spike test scenarios.
Develop and maintain performance test frameworks and reusable assets.
Execute tests to validate scalability, reliability, and stability under load.
Analyze application, database, and infrastructure performance bottlenecks and system metrics.
Deliver performance reports, dashboards, analytics, and actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and architecture teams to resolve performance issues.
Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines and drive performance optimization initiatives.
Use AI/LLM tools to improve automation, performance scripting, test design, and result analysis.

5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in performance engineering.
Strong expertise with a performance testing tool such as Gatling, K6, or Locust.
Understanding of performance testing methodologies, workload modeling, and capacity planning.
Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
Experience analyzing CPU, memory, I/O, network, and database performance metrics.
Proficiency in a scripting or programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerized systems using Docker or Kubernetes.
Strong communication, ownership, analytical decision-making, collaboration, and quality-focused skills.
Preferred experience includes PLM or digital manufacturing, API performance testing, microservices architecture, shift-left performance testing, and performance engineering practices.
