Base Salary
$190k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build next-generation distributed data storage and processing systems.
- Support a broad array of data consumers, including web applications and AI.
- Identify and develop scalable and performant solutions.
- Shape product strategy and execution across disciplines.
- Develop foundations of code architecture and quality.
- Set and uphold standards for engineering processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Eight years of experience in software engineering or a closely related occupation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of building scalable and reliable backend systems.
- Proficiency in CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or VueJs/Ember).
- Experience with AWS technologies and observability platforms.
- Knowledge of database replication, sharding, and high availability techniques.
- Familiarity with Databricks, Spark, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
