Base Salary
$164k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and own the end-to-end development of GraphQL APIs.
- Define schema design standards and manage versioning and deprecation.
- Collaborate with product managers and data engineers to expose GTM data assets.
- Implement API security measures including OAuth 2.0 and rate limiting.
- Maintain production reliability through CI/CD pipelines and observability practices.
- Lead code and design reviews and mentor senior engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience focused on customer-facing APIs.
- Deep expertise in GraphQL, including schema design and performance optimization.
- Strong skills in Node.js and TypeScript for API services.
- Experience with securing APIs and implementing OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
- Familiarity with large-scale data systems like BigTable, BigQuery, or Solr.
- Clear communication skills to drive technical decisions.
