Base Salary
$114k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain satellite ground software through requirements, design, development, testing, integration, release, installation, and maintenance.
- Build full-stack software across operating-system, platform, and mission-specific layers.
- Develop command-and-control software that sends commands, receives acknowledgements, and integrates across hardware interfaces.
- Create mission-planning and constraint-checking applications.
- Develop two- and three-dimensional visualization tools for dynamic space environments and mission data.
- Produce software architecture documentation and apply technical expertise to complex integration problems.
- Interact with program management, government customers, systems analysts, programmers, and end users.
Requirements
- Level 3 requires a bachelor’s degree with five years of development experience, or reduced experience with a master’s degree or PhD; Level 4 requires a bachelor’s degree with eight years of experience, with stated advanced-degree substitutions.
- Four additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required at application; Level 4 specifies active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Experience with Python, Go, AWS, GitLab workflows, Docker, and Kubernetes is required.
- Experience with software product design, build, and deployment and with producing software architecture documentation is required.
- Level 4 requires five years with Python, Go, AWS, GitLab workflows, and Docker/Kubernetes plus prior microservice architecture experience.
- Preferred qualifications include satellite ground software, mission planning, constraint checking, visualization tools, Linux, Ansible, Docker, UI/UX, and an active CI polygraph.
