Base Salary
$180k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship high-quality Android features using Jetpack Compose and Kotlin Coroutines.
- Develop and optimize video/audio pipelines and AI-powered visual features.
- Craft immersive custom UI experiences with expertise in Compose animations.
- Leverage deep Android internals knowledge for optimal performance.
- Architect and maintain a clean MVVM application structure.
- Set up and manage dependency injection using Koin or Hilt.
- Participate in architecture discussions and uphold code quality standards.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA teams to deliver polished experiences.
- Take ownership of features as part of a fast-moving team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience developing Android applications.
- Expert-level Kotlin proficiency, including coroutines and advanced features.
- Deep expertise in Jetpack Compose and performance profiling.
- Strong command of MVVM architecture and Android architecture components.
- Hands-on experience with dependency injection using Koin or Hilt.
- Strong understanding of Android internals and performance profiling.
- Experience with media frameworks like ExoPlayer and CameraX.
- Ability to write readable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Experience with RESTful API integrations and proficiency with Git.
- Keen attention to detail in motion and animation.
