Responsibilities
- Own, design, build, and maintain the product’s most critical components.
- Develop reliable full-stack features that improve user efficiency.
- Evaluate, benchmark, fine-tune, and run experiments with AI/ML and LLM capabilities in production.
- Experiment with model releases, frameworks, and agentic techniques and iterate using data and user feedback.
- Improve complex legacy codebases for structure and scalability.
- Engineer infrastructure and automation for heavy data and AI workloads.
- Collaborate hands-on with founders and teammates to shape technical direction.
Requirements
- Practical production experience with AI/ML and LLM systems, including benchmarking, fine-tuning, and experimentation.
- Strong full-stack engineering skills across backend and cloud environments.
- Fluency in Python; familiarity with Go is preferred.
- Experience building robust, real-world production systems and working with complex legacy codebases at scale.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, intellectual humility, self-discipline, and an autonomous, results-oriented work style.
- Domain knowledge in logistics or freight forwarding is preferred.
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience, or equivalent relevant projects or a demonstrable track record.
- Prior startup or entrepreneurial experience.
- Strong spoken English for technical discussions.
- Willingness to work on-site in Munich or relocate there.
Benefits
- Salary of EUR 60,000 to 90,000 annually.
- Equity participation through options of up to 1%, with possible top-ups.
